Huascarán Snowy Peak
Description
The Huascarán snow-capped mountain is the highest peak in Peru, with two summits that dominate the landscape. The southern summit stands at around 6768 meters above sea level, while the northern summit, located next to the Cordillera Blanca, near Yungay, reaches 6655 meters above sea level. The latter summit offers approximately 8 to 9 routes to access through its walls. The name Huascarán means "Chain of mountains" due to its vast extension and presence.
