Antacocha Lagoon
Description
Antacocha is located 8 km northwest of the district of Recuay, on the Cordillera Negra at an altitude of 3780 meters above sea level. In this place, you can find the Antacocha lagoon, which provides a perfect setting for adventure tourism and sports events such as rock climbing competitions, mountain biking, trekking, and more. It features a rock wall just 200 meters away with multiple climbing routes, and you can pay 80 soles for a taxi to take you from the city of Huaraz to the foot of the lagoon.
