Sandboarding in Pasamayo

Sandboarding is a discipline that consists of descending dunes with a board similar to a snowboard. Peru is one of the best countries in the world to practice it, and the Pasamayo dunes are one of the terrains where sandboarding can be done.

Where it takes place

Sandboarding is practiced on the Pasamayo dunes, specifically on the descent to Toma y Calla beach. It starts at the top of Pasamayo at the height of the road and goes down to the beach.

Recommendations

It is preferable to practice sandboarding in the early morning hours or starting from 4:30 pm, as the sand can be very hot and cause burns, making optimal development difficult.
