Toro Mata is an unforgettable experience. An impressive Apu of sand that gives us the opportunity to practice sports and appreciate a majestic landscape in the Peruvian desert. It is the second highest dune in the world, but it offers the longest descent for sandboarding.

Where it takes place
Toro Mata Dune, located in the district of Acari, in the province of Caravelí.
Route
You ascend in a 4x4 truck up to 1300 meters above sea level, then continue 500 meters until reaching the highest part for the sandboarding descent.
