Sandboarding at Duna Manchan

A wonderful place where young people from Casma and many other places come to practice a sport called Sandboarding, which involves descending sand dunes or hills with special boards similar to those used in Snowboarding. It belongs to the category of extreme sports due to the increase in adrenaline experienced by those who practice it.

Last year, with the participation of outstanding athletes from Chimbote, Lima, and Trujillo, a Sandboarding exhibition was held on the Manchan dune, as part of the Casma Tourist Week. For many participants, it was their first time on this sand, and they were amazed by the experience.
