📝 Route Description
The Nevado Solimana is located between the provinces of La Unión and Condesuyos, in the department of Arequipa. It stands at an altitude of 6,093 meters above sea level. It is a volcanic massif from where you can appreciate the Chichas Canyon with a depth of 3,000 meters.

April - June: It is a good season for climbing the mountain due to the dry weather.
Route to reach Nevado Solimana:
You must depart from Arequipa towards the town of Cotahuasi in the direction of Coropuna. Then continue to the pass at Visca Grande at 4,650 meters above sea level to walk to the West, passing the Southwest and finding the shelters of Sora on the North Slope of the Mountain.
To carry out the climb, you must ascend towards the North side or Northwest, including the glacier located at 5,300 meters above sea level with ice, snow, and some loose rocks.
