Route Description
Mountain biking route: Lamas - San Pedro de Cumbaza. This route is ideal for those who want to experience off-road adventure in the middle of the jungle. We depart from Lamas towards the Chapawanki waterfall, from where we can observe the Mayo River basin.
From there, we head towards San Roque de Cumbaza, taking a trail and road passing through the native community of Chunchiwi until we reach San Roque, where you can eat and rest before heading to San Pedro de Cumbaza. The route covers a total of 24km and starts in the early morning hours at 7 - 8 am until 5 - 6 pm, depending on each person's pace.
This journey can be done at any time of the year and its difficulty is moderate due to its distance.
