📝 Route Description
The areas of the so-called Andean Trapezium are frequently followed by off-road 4x4 enthusiasts, thanks to their impressive trails that challenge the wheels and powerful engines of their vehicles.
There are different routes that can be taken through the Andean trapezium starting from the city of Lima. One of them is the Ayacucho-Andahuaylas-Abancay route, covering a distance of 399 km; another possible trail for off-road 4x4 is the Lima-Huancayo-Huancavelica route, with a distance of 444 km. Additionally, there is the Lima-Huancayo-Ayacucho trail, spanning 551 km, and Lima-Pisco-Ayacucho, covering 558 km, although there are many others.
Any time of the year is suitable for following these trails, although it is recommended to check the rainy season and road conditions before starting the journey to be prepared for possible route changes.
