Lobitos Beach

In the department of Piura, exactly north of Talara, you will find Lobitos, a beach with world-class left-hand waves, making it a paradise for surfing and kitesurfing. Lobitos is an oil field that has been exploited since the beginning by the International Petroleum Company. This is why in all the postcards of surfers on the waves of Lobitos, we see oil platforms in the background and then the incredible Lobitos sun.

How to get to Lobitos? 

We depart from Piura to the city of Talara by public bus called EPPO, the journey takes 2 hours. Then, we must take a combi in front of this transport agency to Lobitos.

Climate in Lobitos  

It has a temperate climate. It is advisable to go in the summer season from December to March. The rest of the year also offers a pleasant climate.
