Canchaque is located in the Department of Piura, province of Huancabamba. Its name derives from the Quechua word "kancha," which means roasted corn, and "Chaque." It is also considered the Regional Capital of Organic Coffee, as there are 1700 hectares dedicated to coffee cultivation.
It offers different landscapes to explore and practice adventure sports in its tourist sites such as the Petroglyphs of Pampasminas, Ruins of Canchamanchay, Stone Tableada Cave, Cerro Campanas Viewpoint, Chorro Blanco Waterfall, Cerro Huayanay Viewpoint, and Peroles de Mishahuaca.

How to get to Canchaque?
First, we must reach the city of Piura, either by land or air. From here, we take public transportation at the Castilla Bus Terminal to Canchaque, a journey of approximately 2 and a half hours on paved roads.
