You will be able to appreciate tunnels, one of them full of bats and another with stairs, where thanks to the latter you can cross and reach the splendid Subterranean Waterfall of Sheque. You can bathe in its crystal-clear waters if you wish.

The Autisha Canyon is located in San Antonio de Chaclla, province of Huarochirí, in the department of Lima, about two and a half hours from the latter.

How to Get There
If you are in Lima, take a "Chosicano", these are buses that pass by Parque de la Exposición, Puente Santa Anita, among other points. Where to get off? At Parque Echenique, which is located one block from the stop of the cars heading to San Pedro de Casta, where you will take a final transport whose stop is Puente Autisha.

- If you are not good at driving, do not go on your own, as the road is quite narrow.
- Don't forget to bring a light lunch: tuna, cookies, and water.
- Bring a helmet light, remember that you will descend several meters underground and it is very dark.
- Carry only what is necessary in your backpack.
- Do not forget the windbreaker jacket. There are intense air currents.
- Can you swim in the waterfall? Yes, but remember that in May the water is very cold.
