Description

The waterfall is located on the circuit known as the "Mythical Waterfalls," as it groups together a set of waterfalls and due to its high concentration of positive and magnetic energy, it is frequently visited by witches and shamans. Additionally, it has a ten-meter high slope that, when falling, flows into a beautiful natural lagoon, a place used for refreshing, even though it may be cold as it originates from the melting of the nearby snow-capped mountains.

How to get to the Pumapaqcha Waterfall?

Getting there by bus: If coming from Lima by land, it is a journey of approximately 12 to 13 hours. Then take a 2-hour and 30-minute trip from the city of Ayacucho, which is 100 km away. Getting there by plane: If by air, the journey takes 40 minutes. In the second leg, the trip from Ayacucho to Cangallo is done by combis, which depart and return constantly.
