The Apurímac River originates in the Andes mountain range, between Cuzco and Arequipa, 650 km southeast of Lima and 160 km west of Lake Titicaca. The Apurímac River is one of the most visited places by sports enthusiasts who enjoy adrenaline, considered one of the deepest in America as well as one of the best rivers in the world for whitewater rafting.
