Quitaraju Mountain
Description
Located in the northern direction of the Cordillera Blanca, Quitaraju is one of the main 6K peaks of the Cordillera Blanca, reaching 6,040 meters above sea level. Access is the same as for Alpamayo, entering through the Santa Cruz valley from the town of Cashapampa in Caraz, then continuing through the Arhuaycocha valley to the base camp of Alpamayo.
