Hatun Machay
Description
Located in the Black Mountain range between Conococha and Huaraz, you will find the stone forest of Hatun Machay, at an altitude of 4200 meters above sea level. There are between 200 and 300 routes here, and it also has a nearby refuge where visitors can spend the night and rest.
To get there, we must take the road towards Huaraz and after passing Conococha, we turn off towards Pampas Chico. After 25 minutes of travel, we reach a fork that will lead us to the left side, just 5 minutes away from Hatun Machay.
