Experience a unique adventure practicing bungee jumping in Lima.

There are different ways to de-stress. One of them could be bungee jumping. Bungee jumping, or bungy jumping, is an activity that consists of the launching of a person from a bridge. The person practicing it is secured with full harnesses that provide support at three points: waist, chest, and legs, allowing them to ascend in a vertical position (almost seated) after the jump.

One of the suitable landscapes for bungee jumping in Peru is the Lima highlands. One of them is in the Autisha Canyon, 2 and a half hours from Lima, on the road to San Pedro de Casta in Marcahuasi (via the Santa Eulalia valley road), offering a beautiful landscape to practice this adventure sport.

Considerations for your safety:

1. The equipment for bungee jumping includes a helmet, harness, ropes, and gloves. These implements must be nationally and internationally certified.

2. There must be personnel on the bridge for each jump, and if possible, a person below.

3. Ropes should be changed according to their useful life. A bungee jumping rope lasts up to five years, but it all depends on usage and wear.

4. The jump is personal, and it is recommended to jump forward to avoid hitting the railing.

5. It is advisable to perform jumps at a time when there is not much traffic.
