Hike to Laguna Ancascocha

Cajamarquilla is a town located in the district of Yanacancha, province of Pasco, Cerro de Pasco region. We start the ascent from the ravine towards Laguna Antascocha. It is an approximate one-hour walk. During the hike, you can observe the town of Cajamarquilla, the ravine, the dawn, Ticlacayan, as well as the mountain range, and some inhabitants of the town. Upon reaching the lagoon, you can observe some ducks that inhabit the area. After admiring the lagoon in all its splendor, we begin the descent back to the ravine, which will take approximately half an hour. The hike depends on the physical condition you are in. Note: The town of Cajamarquilla has several beautiful places you can visit such as Jirkan, Jatojirkan, Paglapuquio, etc. It truly is an unforgettable experience.
