mountain Bike LIMA – Pachacamac XC

We will pick you up from your hotel at 8:30 am to start our tour to Pachacamac. It is a one hour drive until we reach Alfonso’s farm in Pachacamac. Alfonso is a mountain bike legend with more than 20 years practicing the sport and he has opened many of the trails that are used today in Pachacamac.
We will start riding from his farm and after we cross all the farms we will enter into the “Lomas de Pachacamac” where all the trails are. This “lomas” are a rich bank of flora and fauna. From June to September this lomas turns from a dry ecosystem and grey color to a humid and lush green color. We will find a special flower called Amancay along the trail.
As we get into the lomas, we will reach the Inca’s old town! This place was the home and farm of the Inca’s society and it’s not frequented by tourists. Now this place is being restored by the National Institute of Culture (INC) and will become another attractive in Pachacamac. Now it is a special attraction for mountain bikers!
After a short visit to this Inca’s old town, we will start our return to Alfonso’s farm. We will ride a total of 20 Km. in approximately 2.5 hours.
On the afternoon there’s the option to make a stop on the main Inca site of Pachacamac and make a guided tour.
